Semi-Hollow Construction

Semi-Hollow guitars deliver a unique and open response that cannot be compared to a Solid-Body instrument. Our specialised construction additionally blocks most feedback and keeps you going even on high gain levels.

A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.

Big Body, Big Tone

The Gran Majesto is a semi-hollow, big body guitar with slim 45mm sides, double F-Holes and a floating transparent pickguard. This all provides the celebrated Duesenberg flexibility from clean to rock tones and even further.

The pickup switch located at the lower cutaway now lets you choose between a full Humbucker and P90 combination, as well as the typical Duesenberg wiring where low-end frequencies are filtered out of the humbucker signal when both pickups are combined. You can also select each one individually, of course.
It comes in three spectacular finishes: Vintage Burst, Cherry Red and Catalina Green (Metallic).

Phonico Pickups

The Gran Majesto comes equipped with our celebrated set of Duesenberg pickups: The GrandVintage Humbucker and the Domino P90.

Both are hidden under our exclusive Phonico pickup covers, our visionary expression of truly independent hardware design. They also prove that nothing really has to stay the same just because it always has been. The inside dimensions are designed to hold most forms of today's pickups, just in case you may want to swap them. We don't think you will.

PLEKED FRETBOARD

The fretboard is to your music, what the handle of a brush is to a painting.

It says a lot about an instrument how much care was taken here.

Every single Duesenberg instrument is expertly pleked for buzz-free playability all throughout the fretboard. It is then carefully finished by hand and precisely set up by one of our professional luthiers. The luthier responsible also leaves his or her signature inside the instrument.

This all is our promise to you that a Duesenberg instrument will always feel great in your hands.

Nickel Hardware

Most of our hardware is nickel finished.

You will find the geometrical three steps in almost every part on our instruments, from the curves on the headstock to the shape of the output jack.

When compared to regular chrome finishes, nickel has a beautiful warm and elegant sheen and ages naturally over time. It's the way things were done before chrome became the standard. If you don't want the hardware on your instrument to age, we recommend regular cleaning.
